Other Lives and other stuff.... - May 23, 2010
Just did a few dates with Other Lives, I was mixing two of the three songs for their forthcoming Landforms E.P. They turned out really nicely and am looking forward to their release.
In other news the Kite Flying Robot record is just about finished with the tracking, and we hope to get to mixing throughout June and July.
It's a crazy summer so far!
Also, ACM@UCO is offering a Pro Tools 101 class over the summer. I'm gonna drop some basic knowledge for all the willing listeners/participants. It's not super expensive, and is open to the public. Think about it......

I just got the new mixing and production space all worked out and ready to go! I'm really excited about it!
We're talking full Pro Tools HD, analog summing mixer and super sweet analog outboard (just the really tasty bits though).
We are all setup and ready to take your project on. Remember this is NOT a tracking space, merely a humble mixing and production room, with minor overdubbing options. Email me if you want to talk about it. It's really cool, so I might talk your ears off.
In other news, I just finished up three lovely days with Kite Flying Robot, in Norman's illustrious Blackwatch Studios. We did basics for their new record, so keep your ears to the ground about it, it's gonna be quite good. Knocked out a lovely mix for Cecada's new record too. Expecting to get a Colourmusic song all mixed up and out the door sometime soon.
